Lunch by George: AGM – November, 2, 2026
Outreach St. George’s Kingston supports people facing homelessness and other barriers in Kingston. Through Lunch by George, Chef Chaze and our team prepare fresh breakfasts and lunches each weekday at the St. Lawrence College Teaching Kitchen. Our Sprinter van brings the meals downtown to our Wellington Street meal distribution site, where staff and volunteers welcome guests with nourishing food, dignity, and a sense of community.

Our Story
Lunch by George has been serving Kingston since 1985. For more than 40 years, St. George’s Cathedral has been home to our meal program, sustained by volunteers, donors, and neighbours who believe that everyone deserves a warm welcome and a nourishing meal. Read more about our history.
In June 2026, we moved meal preparation to the St. Lawrence College Teaching Kitchen and began serving from our Sprinter van at the Wellington Street meal distribution site. Led by Chef Chaze, our Head Cook, the kitchen team prepares breakfast and lunch every weekday, while staff and volunteers greet guests downtown.
As more people turn to us for meals, our community continues to show up. With support from our partners and neighbours, we carry the spirit of Lunch by George into this new chapter: sharing good food, building connections, and treating every guest with dignity.
