Lunch by George saw a big change, as did the rest of society, when Covid arrived.

We went from indoor seating and service for 2.5 hrs to takeout daily at 1100.

The transition was fairly seamless owing to our Coordinator Jen Hurd, and her crew of Joan DeGray, Blake St. John-our newly hired folks and volunteers Deb Docherty , Kathy Moulton, and Phyllis .

We could not have the amount of volunteers we normally did, due to physical distancing and worry about transmission of the virus, but this has worked extremely well, albeit bringing on more expense, and we have not missed a regular day feeding our clients and continue to offer clothing to them.
