Our Mission
At Outreach St. George’s Kingston, our mission is to provide nutritious meals, dignity, and compassionate support to people in need in our community. Through our Lunch by George program, we serve breakfast and lunch every weekday, creating a welcoming and respectful connection with those experiencing food insecurity, homelessness, and marginalization. With the support of our volunteers, donors, and community partners, we are committed to ensuring that everyone we serve is treated with kindness, respect, and dignity.

Hours
Monday–Friday
Breakfast: 9:00–10:30 a.m.
Lunch: Noon–1:00 p.m.
Fresh meals are prepared at the St. Lawrence College Teaching Kitchen and served to take away from our distribution site on Wellington Street near Johnson Street.
All are welcome!

The team at Wholesale Club Kingston follow our weekly menus on our website and social media. Every week, they donate groceries based on what Chef Chaze is planning to prepare. How amazing is that?

Today, Cooke's Fine Foods and Coffee reached out to Lunch by George with an unexpected donation of cookies, biscotti, sauces, lemonades, and other treats. We hadn’t asked—they simply thought of our guests and offered to help.
Their email mentioned approximately five boxes, but there was much more! They kindly lent Tom their dolly to take several loads to our Wellington Street distribution site. 😊
Chef Chaze was very thankful, knowing our guests will benefit from this wonderful generosity.

Lunch by George is delighted to welcome six Queen’s University fourth-year nursing students on placement this fall. Working in two groups, they are supporting our guests through community projects.
Meet some of these students, pictured here with posters for their oral care donation drive! They are collecting supplies to create personal care packages for our guests.
