At Outreach St. George’s Kingston, our mission is to provide essential support to those facing homelessness and marginalization in Kingston, particularly through our Lunch by George breakfast and lunch program. With your help, we’ve been able to expand our reach and provide more than just meals—we are able to offer hope, dignity, and a sense of community.

🐔 **Chef Chaze’s Weekly Menu: Chicken Features!**
Chef Chaze has created another delicious week of made-from-scratch breakfasts and lunches for September 14–18. From coconut curry chicken and chicken quesadillas to roasted red pepper chicken penne and chicken submarine sandwiches, there is plenty to look forward to!

🌟 A WELL-DESERVED SHOUT-OUT TO ALEX BEAMISH! 🌟
Earlier this year, Alex approached Lunch by George after choosing our website for a course project. What began as an evaluation of its content, readability, and ease of use grew into an extraordinary contribution to our organization.
Alex designed, built, and launched the new Lunch by George website, creating a welcoming online home where people can learn about our mission, view our menus and meal counts, follow our news, recognize our supporters, and make a donation.
His work continued well beyond the launch. Alex refined the desktop and mobile layouts, improved accessibility and online search visibility, established donation links, resolved technical issues, and patiently taught us how to update the website ourselves.
One feature of Alex’s design allows us to share the growing impact of Lunch by George. In August, we provided 5,010 made-from-scratch breakfasts and lunches at no charge—the second-highest monthly total in our history!
The other photographs offer a glimpse inside the kitchen this week. Today, September 10, our team prepared and provided 290 breakfasts and lunches for our guests. A HUGE thank you to Chef Chaze for quarterbacking the kitchen throughout this exceptionally busy week!

🇫🇷 **French Cuisine Week is underway at Lunch by George!**
After the Labour Day weekend—with few options available to our guests for freshly prepared meals—we were happy to welcome everyone back today. A superstar volunteer stepped up to help Chef Chaze keep the kitchen moving and ensure our guests received two generous, made-from-scratch meals.
🥓 **Breakfast:** Brown sugar and cinnamon monkey bread topped with butterscotch and walnuts, served with bacon.
🍗 **Lunch:** Creamy tarragon chicken served with herb-and-butter rice and a colourful pasta salad.
Everything was prepared in the Teaching Kitchen at St. Lawrence College and transported downtown in our Lunch by George Sprinter for service at Wellington and Johnson Streets.
Thank you to Chef Chaze and our wonderful volunteers for helping us provide warm, nourishing meals to our community today. ❤️

🇫🇷 Le Menu de la Semaine—French Cuisine Week at Lunch by George!
Lunch by George will be CLOSED on Monday, September 7, for Labour Day. We will reopen Tuesday morning with a wonderful week of French-inspired breakfasts and lunches prepared by Chef Chaze and our hardworking kitchen team.
This week’s menu includes brown sugar and cinnamon monkey bread served with bacon and fresh fruit, Croque monsieur, creamy tarragon chicken, Hachis Parmentier, Chicken Chasseur with lyonnaise potatoes, fried French toast, and French onion and bacon rigatoni.
📍 Meals are distributed at Wellington and Johnson Streets.
Breakfast: 9:00–10:30 a.m.
Lunch: 12:00–1:00 p.m.
